With the Internet issues.. Finally tomorrow we will be getting a new modem. I guess they have to try to pin point many things prior to just hooking up a new modem so the service will work right... All I know is I will be super happy when it's fixed tomorrow between the hours of 7-9am LOL! I've got work to do.. We have some new girls to add to the DT! Things to create! Lots of chit-chat and talking to do! So hang on girls we'll be ready to move forward very soon!

This collection is a going to launch something "NEW" for us! With the economy where it is currently at and many people loosing jobs and home party companies have really taken off! For night now that is all I'm saying.... But stay tuned for more details... As it might be a way for you to earn some extra $dough$ while having a great time!

Here... Wifi..Wifi..Wifi...

Ok.. So what do you think one might look like roaming the street with an open computer trying to catch some wifi?

That would be me.. Right now.. And I caught some.. But just for a bit..

I have had some really bad lucky-lou with computers.. First is was the charger.. Which still has not arrived... Now it is the modem for the Internet.. It works for a second then logs ya off... Of course a tech can't come out until Tuesday to replace it... Why is it that things all tend to go out at once? hmmm... good question...

So long story short.. We're going out of town tomorrow.. Driving to NE for a wedding and we won't be back until Monday night... I'm hoping the hotel has wifi.. If so I will be able to add and announce the NEW DT to the blog.. And we'll get this show on the road...

So stay tuned.. We'll be announcing it as soon a as I can get wifi long enough to do the post... or Tuesday after the tech comes out..

Thanks for being sooooo very patience... You are all going to love the new editions to the team... It will be worth the wait *wink-wink*....

Good morning... We will be announcing the new DT tomorrow here on the blog... We had a little delay due to a computer charger going out and not having access to the computer.. I know no access... What does a girl do with no access to the computer.. The blog world... Ahhhhh... However we have a loner computer that we'll be using until the charger arrives in the mail....

So no fear... We're here now... Everything will be ok...

Good morning sugars! Time for another *sweet* challenge!! This week's challenge is all about Sparkles.... and Glitter Galore... so make a card that is super sparkly!!

Cassie used The Dress - and highlighted her embossing with glitter!

I've Got Style Gal shines on Jacquie's card!

Here is Mary's Card! Glitter paper, glittered balloons and rhinestones make Simply Kayla shine!!

Georgia created 2 cards this week - Her first one uses Just Scootin' Around. I hope you can click this and make it bigger. She used a Glitter Pen on every dot on the background paper, rhinestones on the arrow paper and another Glitter Pen around the scooter!

Here is Georgia's second card featuring Cupcake Delight. She used Glimmer Mist on the background paper and Stickles and Glitter Pen on the cupcake frosting and candles!

Dee used Stickles in 3 different colors on her Eiffel Tower.

Sugarlicious Saturday 16: Polka Dots!

Good morning Sugars!! Today is truly a Sugar filled day here at Modern Sugar Blvd!! We are so happy you stopped by!!

First is our August Guest Designer Jacquie's creation. She used Let It Flow from the Just Because line. Her fun purple and green color combo gives a fresh and updated look to the lava lamp! And check out all that bling!!!
Sharon's creation is so soft and sweet! I love the colors she used!! It's a Garden Thing from the Just One of the Girls line is perfect for this challenge! Her sentiment means this could be used for so many things - birthday, a special event or even just because!

Blogging Mama (from the So Mama line) takes center stage on Lindsay's project this week. She created a little journal to keep track of all her passwords online. I totally want a pink laptop now - how about you?

Jodi used the I've Got Style Gal on her brown and pink card! She really mixed things up by using white core paper and embossing it, then sanding it to reveal her polka dots. What a terrific look!

Here is Tenia's pretty creation! Such a sweet little bird, on a very sweet card! I love the yellow paired with the brown. Brown in my favorite neutral and I would've never thought of pairing it with yellow --- but thanks to Tenia, I can't wait to try it out now!!

I was browsing the gallery at SCS a few days ago and came across a fabulous card that I wanted to share with all of you!!

Lauri Ingram is the artist behind this sweet scene! Take a look!!

Isn't it wonderful?? I love the bright colors she used and the depth she created! Each of the shops and the car are part of our Around the Town line! Since the images are digital, she was able to size them exactly to what her design called for!!

What is Card Scents? Card Scents came about November of 2007... It was first packaged in nail polish bottles so you could brush it on.. However after many requests.. It is now offered in roll on form...

How To Card Scent It:

All you do it roll it on the fold of your card, around your embellishment, below ribbon.. Get creative on how you apply card scents to your hand crafted card creation...

Since Card Scents is "Smellatraded" aka concentrated a little goes a very long way... Mix them up to make your own unique Card Scents blend... For example.. Maybe you want orange - vanilla.. Roll on vanilla.. Let it dry for a few.. Then roll on Vanilla... Now you have orangenilla...

What Size Does Card Scents Come In: Card Scents is offered in the 1/8 oz. size... We also offer a sample set where you can choose 3 different Card Scents...

How Much To Apply: Here's a good rule of thumb.. Roll it once. Let it dry for a few seconds.. Then roll it again if you would like.. The whole trick is if you see it.. You have added too much at once.. Don't worry.. Practice will make perfect..

How Strong Is Card Scents: You can control how strong or how light your creation will smell by how much you roll on.. To keep your card smelling scentfully seal your creation in a clear envelope..

Some More Stuff:

Card Scents is acid free so it is also safe for scrapboking... All Card Scents are body friendly & safe.. We recommend applying Card Scents to a thicker white stock as the thicker the card stock the better it will absorb.. However you can also apply Card Scents to patterned paper and colored paper.. Make sure you just do a little test first as all manufactures use different blends of ink...
