Sugarlicious Saturday 14: Simplicity!

Hello Sugars!! I hope your Saturday is shaping up to be wonderful!! As summer is in full swing, we are embracing Simplicity this week here at Modern Sugar Blvd!!

This week use a single image on a note card and add a word.. We want to show that even the simple cards are cute.

First we have Crystal's card. She used I'm in the Garden from the Soo Mama line. Her coloring is beautiful and really makes this card shine! Take a close look at the water coming out of her can! Awesome!

Next is our August Guest Designer: Jacquie. She used the Cupcake Delight image from the Fresh Whimsy collection. It's to help her keep better track of birthdays. Pretty smart to start with the current month and add as you go!

Here is Wendy's card! She used Window Box from the Life's Simple Pleasures line. It may be just one layer, but oh.my.word. SUCH a powerful card! Beautiful job Wendy!

Here is Tenia's card. She used The Coffee Shop from our Around the Town collection. Can't you just imagine yourself sitting outside this darling cafe? I know I should could! I love all the shades of brown she used. The way she used the paper to create layers without depth is awesome! Gorgeous!

This adorable card is by Sharon. She showcased the Little Moments image from the Once Upon a Time collection so beautifully! All that white space is awesome! The ribbon and embossing frame this precious little guy just perfectly! Terrific job!

Next is Lindsay's creation. Another great simple card! I love how she used pattern paper as a backdrop for her Blogging Mama from the So Mama collection. It looks just like wallpaper! Fabulous look!

Jodi used Our Merry House from the Around the Town line. Her soft colors create a beautiful scene. She said she couldn't resist adding the picket fence and flower. Perfect additions I think! It looks just a sweet home that is warm and welcoming (just like Jodi!). Beautiful!!
